I have been a doggie person since 1994 when I got my first Malamute 'Ryder'.. showed him for the first time in '95...then I got my second Malamute as company for my first... little did I know then that Windy would be my best friend, best show dog and the foundation of what is now Winterwind Kennels...in 2001 I met a crazy englishman, moved to the UK with 3 mals and introduced Eric to the doggie world of showing and working Malamutes ....not too sure he knew what he was in for... now we have moved back to Canada and after spending 3 years just outside Melfort Saskatchewan we decided to move to New Brunswick we made the move on the 8th of June... took us two weeks of travel but we are here now... New Brunswick (NB) is a beautiful province... we have permission from the snowmobile club here to run the dogs on their trails but a couple of hundred yards out the back of our new acreage is access to around 70 miles of dirt roads that they don't plow in the winter so great fun for us sledding .....I will put the story of our eventful trip on the website when I have time... now it is the saga of the dog building to contend with...lol.. (don't try this at home) LOLOLOL.. right now our animal count is 6 cats, 19 dogs (10 malamutes, 6 Eskies and 2 Eursiers) ,,one Eskies was here doing his pet passport quarrantine for our friend from England, one for our friends in Holland..oh and one siberian husky lead dog.. thanks to Jo Kelly for the great Eskimo dogs and Lead dog Couper.. this should make our sledding this year a whole lot easier..
